Keep Warm This Winter with Hot Cocktails

| |

Tis the season for festive cocktails. But with the weather so chilly, must all the drinks be cold? Not so. Try these hot drinks at your next holiday soiree—or even during your next Netflix binge.

Want to serve up your best brew yet? Stick to these tips for French press success!

1. Hot Toddy

These are made with bourbon, honey, lemon, and hot water. While it serves as a great winter cocktail—even though it's served in a mug—it may also help you feel better if you're under the weather!

2. Eve's Addiction

This spiked cider is made with allspice and cloves, but black peppercorns give it a understated burn and coriander adds a citrus vibe.

3. Ancho Reyes Hot Chocolate

Who doesn't love a hot cocoa this time of year? This one is made with Ancho Reyes Original, half and half and chocolate for a creamy, boozy delight. Want another hot chocolate option? Try this Venezuelan Chocolate Rum concoction.

4. Spiced Percolator Punch

Grab grandma's percolator and put it to good use with an infused hot punch. This one combines pineapple, cranberry, cinnamon, cloves, rum and more into a hot wonderland. Just remember that it isn't juice, so you'll want to keep tabs on how much of this delightful punch you can put down.

5. Mulled Wine

Wassail is a nice holiday drink, but this wine gives you a little something extra. Combine a fruity red wine, brandy, sugar, star anise, and a citrus strip into a lively wine—complete with cinnamon sticks as a garnish—that you can serve hot.

6. Homemade Ginger Beer

Ginger, lime and hot water combine to make a gingery homemade beer that will taste unique this holiday season…and perhaps all winter long if it becomes your new favorite.
